…on this seemingly quiet evening when
Olympians from many countries, toil in the tarmac, at stadiums in
Rio de Janeiro, to beat old records and create new heights,

~~~
elsewhere, busy minds engage at work to find ways to solve the biggest conundrum,
that is life itself;
~~~
A selected few, with no appreciation for art and culture, engage in anti-thoughts, and any progress (whatever this means) that one has just made is annihilated by its very opposite.

~~~
All that would last in the end is the vast emptiness,
like the mind, that is endless, unchartered, and thus the blind oblivion itself.
